Inspiring a movement to humanize business while making world class beer for all. 🍻 Certified B-Corp.
About us
New Belgium Brewing was founded in 1991 in Fort Collins, Colo., by Kim Jordan, a social worker, who built her company the only way a social worker would: People first. Over the past three decades, New Belgium has turned that ethos into a unique “human-powered” business model through practices that were and still are rare in the business world: fully paid healthcare premiums for all coworkers, paying a living wage, open-book management, renewable energy sourcing, a free onsite medical clinic and physician, a deep commitment to philanthropy and advocacy, and much more. With expansions to Asheville, N.C., in 2016; Denver, Colo., in 2018; San Francisco in 2021; and the 2021 acquisition of Bell’s Brewery, based in Kalamazoo, Mich., this people-centric model has led New Belgium to become arguably the most popular and fastest-growing American craft brewer today. New Belgium is famous for its flagship beer, Fat Tire Amber Ale; year-round favorites like Voodoo Ranger IPA (America’s #1 IPA brand), Dominga Mimosa Sour, and La Folie Sour Brown Ale; and an award-winning wood-aged sour program and innovative limited release beers.

Imagine taking an entire year off from the daily grind and getting $100,000 to make it count. That’s exactly what Fat Tire is offering one lucky dreamer. Take the Year Off isn’t just a contest, it’s a call to reimagine what success looks like when we reconnect with what truly drives us. One person will be awarded $100,000 to pursue a passion, project, or dream and ten others will receive a year’s supply of Fat Tire to fuel their own journey, whatever that looks like. The idea is rooted in Fat Tire’s origin story and reflects the spirit of our founders who embraced their passions and rejected convention. Now, we’re encouraging others to explore what’s possible when you ask: What do I really want to do with my time? Applications are open until September 30, 2025, and the winner will be announced on October 31. Apply or learn more: https://lnkd.in/eJsKbbvE.

We believe beer is about community, and giving back is just one of the ways we show up for ours. One community near and dear to our hearts are the people and organizations working on sustainable agriculture and water conservation. As climate change disrupts the very ingredients our beer is made of, we’re partnering with likeminded organizations to make a difference. That’s why we’ve teamed up with wholefoodmarket and Mad Agriculture on a new biodiversity highway initiative. This initiative will link 1,000 acres of farmlands, watersheds, and wild areas to restore native ecosystems across America, creating climate-resilient habitats, restoring biodiversity, improving soil and water health, and strengthening our food system long-term. These roots run deep. We were honored to collaborate with the first Native American, woman-owned brewery in America, Bow & Arrow Brewing Co. in Albuquerque, NM, to brew Western Roots - a citrusy, modern Farmhouse Ale that showcases a new renewable grain skyrocketing in popularity among U.S. breweries: Kernza®. An intermediate wheatgrass developed by The Land Institute, Kernza® can have roots that reach deep beneath the soil surface — ten feet or more — to deliver atmospheric carbon to the soil and tap into stores of water that normal crops can't reach, improving soil health along the way. Thriving for multiple years without replanting, Kernza® reduces resource-intensive inputs, benefiting the environment while contributing to more resilient and sustainable food systems. At optimal usage, Kernza-based beer production can achieve a negative carbon footprint. We were excited to use Kernza® from Troubadour Maltings to brew Western Roots alongside our friends at Bow & Arrow – friends we’ve long admired for their deep commitment to sustainability, the earth, and local indigenous ingredients. Find Western Roots on draft and in 6pks for a limited time at our Fort Collins and Asheville taprooms. For more info on the Kernza® perennial grain, visit kernza.org. Kernza® is a registered trademark of The Land Institute. Learn more at landinstitute.org.

Did you hear? Last week Voodoo Ranger has teamed up with fellow bold brand Jeppson’s Malört to create the Roulette IPA Pack: a tastebud-testing, clout-worthy challenge like no other. This limited-edition release is equal parts chaos and creativity, featuring four cans of fan-favorite Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA and two cans of an exclusive, Malört-style IPA brewed to deliver a one-of-a-kind punch. The twist? All cans look identical. So, fans won’t know what they’ve got until they take a sip. Fans are already buzzing across digital and social platforms where those brave enough to take the challenge are putting their own spin on it. Shout out to our friends at Malört for helping bring this one to life.

That’s why securing the top position once again in Tamarron’s 2025 Supply Chain Compass Survey—an industry benchmark for distributor satisfaction and operational excellence—not only reflects our strong performance, but the trust, transparency, and consistent communication we work hard to maintain with our invaluable partners. Thank you to our incredible network of distributor partners for this high praise, and more importantly, for your continued partnership each and every day! https://lnkd.in/evAi4arv
