The National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association – the “NRC” – is a U.S. trade association that advances the mutual interests of railway contractors and suppliers who construct, maintain and supply railroads and rail-transit lines. Founded in 1978, the NRC connects members with other railway industry professionals and government legislators and policy makers. Together we work to create a positive business climate and to make railway construction and maintenance safer and more efficient. Although NRC members often compete against each other, our collaboration furthers the railway construction industry and benefits North American freight, transit and commuter rail lines, our member contractors and suppliers, the general public, and our own professional growth. Another NRC Annual Conference and NRC-REMSA Exhibition #NRC2026 is in the books. Thank you to our speakers and session leaders and to the nearly 1,500 railway professionals who contributed to making this year's record-setting conference such a valuable learning and networking experience. We are grateful to our outgoing Chairman Joe Daloisio (left) for his dedicated service and congratulate incoming Chairman Curtis Bilow on the start of his two-year term. A big thank-you to our President Ashley Wieland for executing another compelling conference for our member contractors and suppliers. We'll see you next year in Phoenix at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort from January 6 through 9, 2027.
