On October 30th, 2025, the DSS Marketplace Program Team held its third Matchmaker of the year and this one celebrated a record response from both certified businesses and non-profits. The Fall Matchmaker brought together more than 80 locally certified firms providing goods and services with agency staff and almost 40 representatives from 20 non-profit human service provider organizations for well over 500 individual meetings. In addition to promoting partnerships with goods providers, professional and standard service firms, and construction firms, the event also brought participants from our September Security Marketplace Builder Event into conversation with shelter operators.   Special thanks to our partners at the NYC Department of Small Business Services for bringing their technical assistance and capacity building teams to support certified firms in growing their businesses.   We’re excited to celebrate new success stories.
