  • We had a blast at SXSW! Global Brand President Denée Pearson participated in two panels over the weekend in Austin. Friday’s panel, “Brand Activations Abroad: How to Engage New Audiences,” highlighted Denee and fellow industry leaders Peter Lewis (SXSW), Rodrigo Montesano (Itaú Unibanco), and Jonathan Yaffe (AnyRoad) discussing how brands can engage international audiences by leveraging localized content, cultural differences, and interactive experiences to create meaningful connections and foster long-term loyalty. On Saturday, we connected with fellow industry leaders at the The Female Quotient’s FQ Lounge SXSW. Denée Pearson was joined by James Thornton (Intrepid Travel), Loren (Brill) Castle (Sweet Loren's), and host Jason Schulweis (The Female Quotient) for the “BUILDING & LEADING: UNSCRIPTED STORIES FROM THE TOP” panel— an intimate conversation about the pivotal decisions, unexpected victories, and transformative challenges that shaped their individual leadership styles.   • You know what NYX looks like, now you’ll know what NYX sounds like! 🎤🎶 To kick off an ICONYX 2025, we are proud to announce NYXTAPE, our first ever album drop! 💥💦 💄🎤In partnership with TikTok, we are the first beauty brand to create and distribute co-owned music on the platform. 💄🎤With NYXTAPE, we merge music creators with makeup creators, ultimately amplifying songs to NYX’s global community of more than 30 million social media followers while also promoting them to TikTok’s 1-billion strong global community. 💄🎤 NYX Professional Makeup has always been rooted in community. We have historically supported emerging artists and creators in makeup, now we take it to music. 💄🎤 In July 2024, NYX Professional Makeup and TikTok hosted five independent artists (Snow Tha Product, Zeina Mates, Dina Ayada, 8ae, and Ashley Mehta) at a three-day songwriting camp led by DJ Rosegold, where songs were written and co-produced in partnership with a number of GRAMMY Award-winning Warner Chappell Music producers.   💄🎤The artists and producers joined creative forces to create a NYXTAPE mixtape inspired by NYX Professional Makeup’s Spring 2025 product launches. The songwriting camp culminated in a music video shoot, where the five artists brought their songs to life wearing corresponding makeup artistry provided by the beauty brand. “NYX Professional Makeup is digital-first brand rooted in entertainment and community,” said Denée Pearson Pearson, Global Brand President. “We lead with innovation while maintaining authenticity in everything we do.
