Congratulations to San Francisco Partner Dana Finberg for successfully defending his client, MarketDial, in a seven-year-long trade secrets case in Federal Court in Utah. The Court granted summary judgment on the trade secret claims last year, and last week the court ordered Plaintiff Applied Predictive Technologies Inc. to pay over $2.8 million in legal fees for "aggressively" litigating an "objectively specious" trade secrets suit. Well done, Dana and team! Law360 mentions this win in their article ‘Failed Software Secrets Case Costs MasterCard Unit $2.8M’.
