Check out the top takeaways: • 69% of board professionals have used AI tools in the past six months: AI usage in the boardroom is no longer an experiment; like it or not, it’s already a key part of board preparation and decision-making. • Board professionals who use AI rate themselves 12 points higher in effectiveness and collaboration: By automating routine work securely, boards can focus more on strategy and oversight. • 40% of directors used more than one AI tool: Experimentation is growing, but multiple tools increase complexity and risk. Top tools: ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Claude, and • Data privacy and compliance are the top AI concerns among directors: The appetite for innovation is strong—but not at the expense of security or fiduciary duty. • Only 66% of boards say they are effective at using technology: Technology adoption lags behind intent, creating gaps in efficiency and protection. • Confidence in board security has declined from 71% to 61%: Boards are moving faster, but their confidence in security is moving in the opposite direction. • Respondents noted that, on average, 36% of directors are underperforming: Fundamentals still matter. Prepared, engaged directors remain the greatest driver of board effectiveness. Read the full 2025 Board Effectiveness + AI Survey: https://lnkd.in/gWx3XcV5
