As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we're recognizing the people, places, and moments that have shaped our culture into what it is today.
One standout example comes from our Yorktown office. In late 2017, the team began organizing regular after-hours activities to strengthen connections beyond the workplace. After trying bowling and trivia leagues, they found their stride in 2018 with beach volleyball, and it quickly became a tradition.
For five seasons, the Yorktown team played at a local ocean club, enjoying the unique setting and the chance to unwind together. The games became more than just a weekly activity. They were a gathering point for colleagues, friends, and families. Coworkers came out to cheer from the sidelines, and the venue hosted several office holiday celebrations.
These moments reflect something deeper than team bonding. They represent the kind of culture that drives long-term success: one that prioritizes health and wellbeing first, strengthens connections with the people we work alongside, and creates the foundation for doing our best work together. It's this commitment to our people that has always set ORBIS apart.
