🎶 The music industry is setting the rules for AI - and this time, labels are in control. Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group are close to landmark AI licensing deals with major tech firms (Google, Suno, Udio, Spotify, and more). The goal? To build a streaming-style micropayment model where every use of a song by AI triggers a payment and to require attribution tech that can track and identify music used in training or generation. It’s a pivotal moment for music rights and transparency. 💫 If these deals go through, they could set the global precedent for how AI pays creators.
