Congratulations to the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) on the occasion of the three new projects in Anse d'Hainault (Grand'Anse Department) in Haiti in collaboration with Haiti's Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES). The population is very enthusiastic about the three projects, which involve building a footbridge over the Médisant River, promoting soil conservation and reforestation in Morne Pichigri, and developing a public square in Nan Franklin. Such activities are not dependence-building "charity". They are important for building resilience, improving living standards, and strengthening citizen participation in governance. What a great way to stave off the gangs' efforts to usurp legitimacy! Looking forward to updates and more such initiatives.
