The message from last week’s U.S. Fusion Forum was unmistakable: #FusionEnergy is America’s race to lead and win. Hosted by the Fusion Industry Association, the event brought together national labs, government, and private industry to map the path to commercial fusion in the 2030s. The conversation centered on U.S. leadership, the #DOE’s new #FusionRoadmap, and the critical role of American manufacturing and supply chains. Read our recap of what’s next for #fusion leadership, and what it will take to keep the U.S. on top of the global energy race: https://lnkd.in/eTMv6Gri

Last week, our Director of Communications attended two industry-leading events at a pivotal moment for fusion energy. As the only supplier of advanced capacitor films for fusion systems, we are excited to support the fusion industry's rapid path to commercialization. Our Nanoplex™ capacitor films were engineered to support the demanding high-temperature environments fusion systems require. We're actively working with fusion companies to ensure the high-performance capacitors needed to power fusion and get fusion's energy on the grid are powered by #Nanoplex. DM us for details.
Last week was a great week to be in #FusionEnergy! After attending two fusion events in D.C., the Special Competitive Studies Project - SCSP AI + Fusion Summit and the Fusion Industry Association’s U.S. Fusion Forum, it’s clear that momentum for fusion’s path to commercialization is accelerating. The new U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science Fusion Science & Technology Roadmap lays out a clear vision: 💥 Build: Critical fusion materials, technology, and infrastructure 💥 Innovate: Advance fusion science and engineering 💥 Grow: U.S. fusion ecosystem through public-private partnerships, supply chain, and workforce #Fusion and #AI are driving each other forward. AI will power fusion’s progress, and fusion will power AI’s exponential growth. As Secretary Wright said, “Fusion will benefit from AI more than almost any other technology.” As a communicator, I love the challenge of helping tell this story, translating complex science into something everyone can understand. It’s not just technology; it’s a revolutionary technology that will change the world.

AI and fusion are converging, and together they’ll power America’s future. At the SCSP AI + Fusion Summit, leaders from U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), national labs, and the private sector made one thing clear: fusion energy isn’t science fiction anymore. It’s a race the U.S. must win. Check out our recap of this pivotal event, including insights from Secretary of Energy Chris Wright, Commonwealth Fusion Systems' Bob Mumgaard, and other leaders shaping the next generation of American innovation. America’s #grid reliability and #energy future are brighter when we invest in secure, homegrown supply chains. Check out the latest from our CEO, Jim Welsh, in Utility Dive on why building critical grid materials like #CapacitorFilm here at home strengthens our economy and safeguards #NationalSecurity. We’re proud to champion reshoring, drive manufacturing innovation, and help ensure America leads the world in energy resilience and technological progress.
It’s no secret, America’s energy security and economic future are at a turning point. With the grid under more pressure than ever, thanks to surging AI demand and the need for next-gen materials, the moment to act is now. I shared my thoughts in @ Utility Dive, diving into why investing in #DomesticManufacturing, modernizing our #PowerGrid, and bringing together utilities, industry, and government should be at the top of our national agenda. Reshoring our supply chain isn’t just a strategic priority, it’s how we build a more resilient, secure #EnergyFuture, and protect our economy for generations to come. We must unite around real innovation and leadership to safeguard America’s grid, economy, and national security. What do you think is the biggest thing standing in the way of a more resilient energy future? https://lnkd.in/gfjKJjeh.

While it only accounts for 7% of America’s GDP, energy powers everything we do. It’s the foundation of our economy, our national security, and our way of life. In POWER magazine, our CMO Shaun Walsh explores what’s at stake if the U.S. continues outsourcing critical grid components and why we must invest here at home in building a more resilient, secure energy future. That’s why we’re investing now in innovative U.S.-made capacitor film, designed to outperform and outlast existing materials. Check out Shaun’s article and DM us to learn more or sample our advanced NanoPlex™ film. https://lnkd.in/e9T_7ecg
