RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment) is the national trade association representing manufacturers, formulators, distributors and other industry leaders in the specialty pesticide and fertilizer industry. Our Mission: to protect and advance the specialty pest management and plant health industries by representing a strong industry voice, advocating to shape public policy, and by influencing positive public opinion. We are the leading association maintaining and defending federal and state pesticide preemption and the only association defending preemption at the local level. Our Vision: an industry free to create inspiring and healthy places where we live, work and play. It drives the work we do every day to protect our members’ important products, which help keep communities and the environment safe from vector-borne diseases and invasive species.

Just got back from Indianapolis after a great visit with SePRO Corporation and Corteva Agriscience. As someone new to my role at RISE (Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment), it was a meaningful opportunity to connect face-to-face, hear what’s top of mind for our members, and learn how we can better support the work they’re doing. These conversations reminded me how important it is to listen, stay curious, and keep asking how we can help. I’m excited to keep learning, build stronger relationships, and find even more ways RISE can bring value to the industry.
