This summer, Amplify was abroad in Berlin, Germany, and Boston, US to help the LEGO Group set up for World Play Day. World Play Day celebrates the UN’s International Day of Play, a day that The LEGO Group helped champion to protect every child’s right to play. In Boston, The LEGO Group transformed the city into a giant playground reimagined by kids, for kids, including: 🏀 The Block - A LEGO-inspired twist on a classic Boston block, complete with a basketball takeover 🎵 The Square - A massive, interactive LEGO beatbox where kids could build with LEGO bricks to create their own tracks 🌊 The Dock - A whimsical mini wharf alive with mystical marine creatures and hands-on adventures From corner stores to city squares, The LEGO Group's powerhouse team of Playmakers showed how play has the power to transform cities in unexpected ways.

As part of our 75th anniversary, we’re celebrating the incredible art our fans have been making for years—because when you’re passionate about something, it’s bound to become a masterpiece. Big shoutout to the brilliant minds across marketing, social, PR, and brand comms who first brought this vision to life digitally on Instagram in 2021.
