Its 4.1 GW portfolio spans nearly 1,800 projects across the US, helping organisations decarbonise, cut costs and build energy resilience. 🌍 Agrivoltaics, integrating farming with photovoltaics, is now a strategic pillar at Pivot. By the numbers so far: ☀️ 72 active dual-use projects, more than any other US developer ☀️ 3,200+ sheep grazing under panels on 700 acres in 6 states 🐑 ☀️ Native seed mixes, pollinator habitats and apiaries producing local honey 🐝 ☀️ Pilot cropping from radishes to tomatoes, plus the first US PV+crop+subsurface drip irrigation in LaSalle, CO (April 2024) ☀️ Long-term 20–40 year leases creating steady income for landowners while Pivot covers operating costs and property taxes The result: healthier soils, cooler panels, lower water needs and new rural livelihoods, without taking land out of production. For more than a decade, Pivot has been recognizing employees who exemplify our company values through the Sun God Award, presented at our monthly company meetings. Anyone at the company can make a nomination through our online suggestion box, sharing how the nominee has leaned into our company values of Impact, Balance, Determination, Professionalism, Honesty, and Kindness. Each month, a Sun God/Goddess is chosen and presented with a statue of Ra, the Egyptian Sun God. This statue adorns their desk for the month before being passed on to the next month’s Sun God. In September, our Sun Goddess was Bre Henley! As one of her many nominations summarized it: Bre shows up every day with determination to solve hard problems by being objective, empathetic, and curious.
