Our location in Matamoros, Mexico, recently had the chance to serve their local community by hosting a group of 12 students from the Chemical Engineering program at the Matamoros Institute of Technology to learn, observe, and gain fundamental job exposure. The purpose of their visit was to learn about the application of Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management Systems in the field. Thank you to Professor José Cruz and Engineer Martínez Ramírez for leading this visit. A large aspect of our 75th Anniversary celebration includes showcasing community involvement and philanthropy, with a focus on not just giving more, but doing more. PLASKOLITE employees Sydney Nowak (Customer Experience Rep) and Cliff Biggert (Nat'l Accounts Manager, Retail) were invited to join our customer Polymershapes in the "24 hour Bed Build" hosted by Lowe’s last week in Charlotte, NC. This event builds beds for children and families in need, with every bed being a donation. A total of approximately 5000 beds were built at the event that our employees volunteered at.
