Last month, we had the pleasure of joining Concurrent Investment Advisors at the 2025 Ascend Conference in Chicago for a conversation on how advisors are using Pontera to deliver more holistic wealth management. Jay Jung Jr. hosted a panel with two of Pontera's top users: Brandon Cox, CFP® of Cox, Klugh & Company and Alexander Reed CFP®ChFC®RICP® of Columbia Associates Wealth Management Group, who shared their best practices for using the platform. The discussion focused on how they’ve implemented Pontera and the impact it’s had on both their businesses and client relationships. Both Brandon and Alexander emphasized that clients feel more at ease knowing all of their accounts—including 401(k)s—are part of the plan. With Pontera, there’s no longer uncertainty about what’s unmanaged. And their advice to fellow advisors? At the very least, learn more about Pontera and consider making it part of your practice. Thanks to Concurrent for hosting us, and to Brandon and Alexander for sharing your experience!

401(k) balances are growing and so is the demand for participant advice. Last week at the MassMutual Advisor Symposium, Peter Nolan joined Shawn W. Daly from MassMutual, Julie Varga from Morningstar and Alex Barned, CRPC from Absolute Capital Management, LLC for a panel discussion. They talked about how MassMutual advisors can deliver better retirement outcomes to their clients through more personalized, in-plan advice. With Pontera, advisors can manage workplace retirement accounts securely and compliantly, bringing every account into the plan without taking custody. Our team is excited to continue helping advisors deliver holistic services and stronger retirement outcomes. Thanks again to MassMutual for hosting a great event, and to Jerry Bonnabeau, MBA and Kevin Amoruso, AIF®, CPFA® for also representing the Pontera team!
