Thanks for sharing Mike Hopkins! Exciting to see our new NBA on Prime Studio come to life! 🏀 Can't wait for the October 24th tip-off!
Incredible night unveiling our NBA on Prime Studio at Amazon MGM Studios! Last night was truly special as we pulled back the curtain on the future of basketball coverage with our NBA on Prime Studio in Culver City. We welcomed an extraordinary lineup of basketball legends joining our talent roster - from Dwyane Wade, Candace Parker, Udonis Haslem and Dirk Nowitzki to Steve Nash, Blake Griffin and so many more. What struck me most was watching our vision come to life - seeing our all-LED regulation half court (the largest high-resolution studio floor in America) transform before our eyes during demonstrations. This isn't just another sports studio; it's a revolutionary approach to bringing fans closer to the game they love. The evening perfectly showcased what we've been building toward: a premier sports destination that combines Amazon's technological innovation with world-class talent and storytelling. When Taylor Rooks moderated a panel with Nash, Nowitzki, Haslem and Griffin, I saw firsthand how our investment in top-tier talent will elevate the conversation around the game. This is more than just adding another sport to our lineup - it's about redefining what a first-stop entertainment destination looks like, with must-see sports programming that drives value for our customers and Prime members globally. NBA on Prime tips off October 24th with a doubleheader: Celtics at Knicks followed by Timberwolves at Lakers. I couldn't be more excited for fans to experience what we've created. What aspects of basketball coverage do you think are most ready for innovation? #NBAonPrime #SportsonPrime #NBAonPrimeStudioUnveil
