I love what we do at Audible and having the opportunity to celebrate Season 2 of “The Prophesy” with our multi-hyphenated star and executive producer, Kerry Washington, our amazing partners at Simpson Street and QCODE, and our team at Audible was the perfect way to kick off #CultureCon 2025!

We just announced QCODE is expanding with Daylight Media to give creators the behind-the-scenes support they need to shine. Daylight will be the powerhouse of creator services, while QCODE will continue to create incredible original content. I've had an amazing journey with QCODE over the last 6 years, from my first collaboration in 2020 to officially joining the team in 2021. We started out as the leading destination for scripted fiction and immersive storytelling, and have since expanded into nonfiction and new formats. We have released over 40 scripted podcasts, many of which I've had the privilege to produce, featuring A-list talent including Matthew McConaughey, Kerry Washington, Demi Moore, Rami Malek, and Toni Collette, among others, with a number of series currently in development for television and film. In recent years we've built one of the fastest-growing internal ad sales networks, with QCODE ranking as a top 5 network. I'm so excited to be part of this new chapter in our story as we continue to innovate and anticipate creator needs across existing and emerging media platforms. Read more about our expansion here: https://lnkd.in/gUQPFZVZ.

  • Big news: Yesterday, we launched Daylight Media, our new network brand. Daylight is where our advertising, monetization, marketing, and audience work now lives, giving our partners a single, clear banner in the marketplace. QCODE remains our original content studio, now led by Head of Content Jacob Bronstein, with an ambitious slate of shows on the horizon. For partners, nothing changes in how we work together — you’ll simply start hearing from us as Daylight. Together, QCODE and Daylight represent our ongoing commitment to creators and storytelling in this new era. Read more in Axios: https://lnkd.in/eyCJ_9aB

Exclusive: Podcast studio QCODE has launched Daylight Media to provide creator services and closed a new growth round from Eldridge Industries. 🎙️ The launch of Daylight formalizes its role in supporting creators with sales, distribution and marketing. QCODE remains the name of the studio arm, financing and producing scripted and unscripted shows with a new slate expected in 2026. 🗣️ "Daylight is meant to be more of a behind-the-scenes partner and helping with monetization, providing some products and technology, audience development, the suite of services and be able to be a really flexible partner," CEO Rob Herting tells me. 🤝 Daylight will exclusively manage ad sales and distribution for "The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart." Other partners include "The Chris Cuomo Project," "And That's Why We Drink," "Jillian on Love," "You Should Know," "Love and Radio" and "Philosophize This." Sightings and My Victorian Nightmare have teamed up to deliver an inventive, genre-blending experience that deepens each show’s storytelling, and also serves as a creative approach to audience growth. An episode crossover between Sightings and My Victorian Nightmare, The Willington Mill Haunting, is a testament to what happens when you let genre, tone, and creative voices collide in unexpected ways. Sightings is an immersive audio horror anthology that drops listeners into first-person encounters with the unexplainable, brought to life through cinematic sound design. My Victorian Nightmare is a gothic history series that resurrects real Victorian-era hauntings and crimes, pairing atmospheric narration with scholarly insight. This collaboration is more than a guest appearance; it’s a true narrative fusion. Genevieve, the host of My Victorian Nightmare, steps into the world of Sightings to co-narrate a chilling retelling of a real 19th century haunting. The episode then transitions into a reflective discussion that unpacks the story through a Victorian lens, offering rich context and layered meaning. This episode exemplifies how podcasting can evolve beyond traditional formats. It’s a case study in cross-pollinating audiences, expanding show identity, and creating editorial moments that feel fresh and unexpected, all while maintaining what makes each show unique. Listen to The Willington Mill Haunting now on Sightings and My Victorian Nightmare on Apple Podcasts: https://lnkd.in/gZcznmjr
