This is Dr Michelle Henne, MD, CAQSM, FAAFP NINTH season volunteering as the team physician for All Saints Academy. The team at Relevé Sports Medicine is so proud to be a part of the All Saints family. It's been great to work with the coaches, all the families and athletes, and especially their athletic trainer Chelsea. We are so happy that she moved here from South Carolina!

This is Dr. Saundra Holseth’s third year working with USTA, ITF and the 50s Zephyrhills Florida, Florida sports coast open women's tennis tournament. Female tennis players from all over the world come to compete in both singles and doubles in the beautiful Florida spring weather. According to Dr. Holseth, “it’s an honor to be the tournament physician again and watch over these very talented women. I also had the pleasure of working with one of USTA's best Physio's, Reiko Takahashi, again this year. It's such a joy to be able to be on the court and watching the exchange of these women who have gotten to know each other over the years through the sport of tennis.” This year also hosted a special treat with exhibition games starring former singer rapper Redfoo from the group LMFAO. He brought a lively and fun atmosphere to the entire weekend. Dr. Holseth is looking forward to next year's tournament and seeing how the girls progress throughout the USTA and international tennis federations rankings. We are so proud of how she represents the high quality, compassionate care and remarkable leadership that Releve Sports Medicine has come to represent.

We are excited to share that Dr. Saundra Holseth has completed her Iovera training days for treating joint pain associated with underlying conditions, such as osteoarthritis, in the knee, ankle, shoulder, hip and sacroiliac joint. This is particularly beneficial for someone who is not a medical candidate for surgery or who is trying to reduce their pain prior to a surgery, such as joint replacement. It can also be considered if a patient is no longer getting relief with joint injections. It is freezing of the sensory nerves that provide sensation around the joints. She even treated Dr. Henne's dad who has severe glenohumeral osteoarthritis in his shoulder, so that he has been pain free with sleeping and even participated in ax throwing recently.
