Making a difference on the water! Heather Grove, Cory House, Joseph Perjak and William Buck joined the Clinton River Watershed Council (CRWC) at Addison Oaks County Park to help clean up Buhl Lake, this time from kayaks! Together, the crew collected a total of 25.65 pounds of trash, helping keep the lake and surrounding area cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone. CRWC’s amazing partnership with OAKLAND COUNTY PARKS AND RECREATION MICHIGAN allows volunteers to utilize their kayaks, making clean-up efforts fun, effective, and unique. Heather reflected, “Little by little, a little becomes a lot,” which perfectly sums up how small actions add up to a big difference. Cory said, “Kayaking around Buhl Lake was a fantastic experience that combined my love of nature with a meaningful purpose. It was rewarding to help preserve the environment and connect with the community.” Will shared, “It feels good to help keep local lakes clean.
