Restore is proud to release our 2026 report, "Beyond Trauma: The Role of Mental Healthcare in the Post-Trafficking Journey of Adult Survivors"! 75% of survivors identify trauma-informed mental health care as their top need after exiting trafficking, yet qualified therapists who understand trafficking dynamics remain scarce. Drawing from interviews with survivor experts and leading practitioners, we present 10 powerful, implementable approaches to close the mental health gap for trafficking survivors. By showcasing innovative models that work and examining persistent barriers, we intend to provide a roadmap for expanding access to specialized care that makes freedom real. It's Giving Tuesday! 🎉 YOU have the power to make it count by standing with survivors of human trafficking in New York City. Here's what we're up against: 26,000 people are being trafficked in NYC right now. The good news? 100% of survivors who entered our program 12 months ago remain free from trafficking today. That's huge. But, for every survivor who enters our programs, 2 more are waiting for the same support. This Giving Tuesday, we're raising $35,000 by December 5th to unlock a $10,000 match for survivors building lasting freedom. That's $45,000 total impact. Here's how you can help right now: ✅ Give to unlock the match (any amount gets us closer to our goal) ✅ Like and share this post with your network to spread awareness ✅ Check if your employer will match your donation (double your impact!) 💙 Freedom can't wait. Give Today: https://lnkd.in/eAWqPSKB Lasting freedom means safe housing, financial security, and trauma-informed care. Your gift today means more survivors have access to these opportunities. #GivingTuesday #EndTrafficking #RestoreNYC #NYC #SurvivorSupport
