The Rhode Island Health and Educational Building Corporation (“RIHEBC”) is a quasi-state agency that partners with public and private healthcare and educational institutions, cultural institutions, human service providers, and municipalities, to secure low-cost tax-exempt financing for critically needed capital projects. Facilities financed through RIHEBC include new construction and renovations of hospitals and community health centers, academic buildings and student centers, K through 12 public schools, among so many other important projects. Since our inception in 1966, we have financed over $10 billion of these mission-critical facilities across the State of Rhode Island.

Utilizing a $25,000 RIHEBC Capital Grant Program award, Excel Academy was able to build out a new conference room, teachers staff room, and additional classroom space.
