September 15th 2025 was the first day of Roads to Success afterschool! We’re so grateful to be part of these precious first moments! This week has been all about new beginnings, new friendships, and endless possibilities. From sweet ice cream smiles to the energy of youth rallies, we’ve watched amazing connections unfold and shy hellos turn into joyful laughter. Seeing our youth light up as they discover new friends and feel at home here is the greatest gift. We planned every activity with love, and they’ve embraced each moment with pure joy. Week one of the new school year is in the books! Our administrative team and staff at Roads to Success afterschool sites welcomed students and families with kickoff events, RTS swag, and on-site enrollment for our programs. Many sites celebrated with ice cream parties, because what better way to start the year? A special thank you to Council Member Chris Banks for donating 20 backpacks filled with school supplies. These were distributed to students in our afterschool program at Hyde Leadership Charter Middle School, helping them start the year prepared and supported. At Roads to Success, we believe every young person deserves to begin the school year confident, equipped, and ready to thrive.
