Last week, we welcomed local golfers and supporters to Oak Hill’s East Course for the 46th Annual Rochester Regional Health Golf Classic in memory of Ralph P. DeStephano, whose vision brought Unity Hospital to Rochester’s west side.   Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, including our Presenting Sponsors, Pike Construction Services and LaBella Associates, and the support of our attendees, we raised more than $300,000—the highest total in tournament history.   These funds will directly impact our patients and help us continue delivering exceptional care to the communities we serve. Thank you to all who participated for being part of this record-breaking achievement. 🩵

From St. Lawrence County to Western New York, we’re here for our communities - even on game day! 🏈 At last night’s Bills vs. Dolphins game, we joined the American Heart Association to train fans in hands-only CPR. For every step (and roll👨🦽➡️) toward the finish line, We’re Here for It. 🩵 Through happy tears and emotional cheers, patients from our Golisano Rehabilitation Center at Unity Hospital walked, rolled, and pushed forward to cross the finish line at our 2nd annual “Walk & Roll.” Healing is not a journey that anybody takes alone. It’s a partnership between patients, providers, friends, family, and neighbors. Yesterday, we were honored to see that bond on full display. Congratulations to all who participated, and thank you to our Golisano Rehab team for the powerful reminder of what’s possible when we lift each other up.

✨ Team Member Spotlight: Kasey Wild, MS, OTR/L ✨ Meet Kasey, an Occupational Therapist at Unity at Ridgeway. She chose OT because she loves helping people regain independence. That might mean getting back to a daily routine, a work task, or a favorite hobby. As a hand therapist, she combines creativity with clinical expertise. From fabricating custom orthotics to problem-solving unique patient needs, she is all about supporting progress. Outside of work, Kasey values balance and connection. Flexible schedules give her time for a workout or a walk with her dog, Beau 🐾. She also finds joy in the friendships she has built with her coworkers. Together they take on trivia nights, escape rooms, axe throwing, and even the Corporate Challenge (in the rain)! This Rehab Week, we are proud to celebrate Kasey and all of our rehab professionals who bring knowledge, energy, and heart to their work. 🩵 Thinking about the next step in your career? 🎉 Today, we celebrated fifty years of care, connection, and community at Unity Hospital! 🩵 From its start as Park Ridge Hospital in 1975 to today, Unity has been here for patients, families, and neighbors through every chapter of life. We loved celebrating this milestone with our team, supporters, and friends, complete with a nostalgic look back (and even a 1970s-style silent disco)! 🕺 🪩 Thank you to our incredible team members, our patients, and our community supporters who made this day so special, including Monroe County Executive Adam Bello, Senator Jeremy Cooney, and Assemblyman Josh Jensen for helping us mark this milestone. Here’s to the next 50 years (and beyond)! 🙌
