For our Rocket Community Fund x Gilbert Family Foundation in-office Friday in September, both teams came together for our North Star Strategy session! We reviewed the mission of our North Star Strategy and talked about updates that are being made as we continue our efforts to deliver economic prosperity to Detroiters. Team members also collaborated to discuss ways we can work even closer together and assist one another on projects. 💙

Our Education & Employment Senior Program Manager, Autumn Evans, will be a keynote speaker at the Michigan Broadband Summit (MBS) today to discuss a case study, formally announce Rocket's budgetary investment in eduroam for Detroit, and examine how access to internet can elevate communities. We want to thank Merit Network for the opportunity to discuss our findings and efforts as we continue to help stabilize and improve communities in Detroit.

Today, we were recognized as the "Amigo of the Year" at the 2025 Amigos de SER Business Recognition Luncheon! Our Executive Director, Laura Grannemann, was the keynote speaker and accepted the award on behalf of the organization. She gave words of inspiration and gratitude while reflecting on the efforts that have been made to help advance workforce development in the city of Detroit. We want to thank SER Metro-Detroit for the recognition and congratulations to all award recipients and honorees for their hard work and achievements as we all continue to grow and strengthen the community. ❤️🚀
