An experience our GVR basketball players will never forget. At Green Valley Ranch Middle School, opportunity is built through leaders who open doors. Thanks to the vision of our Athletic Director, our student-athletes had the opportunity to attend a Denver Nuggets basketball camp and learn directly from professional athletes. Our scholars trained alongside six Denver Nuggets players who generously invested their time and expertise, sharing hands-on coaching on the court: Tim Hardaway Jr., Jonas Valančiūnas, Cam Johnson, DaRon Holmes II, Zeke Nnaji, and Hunter Tyson. From Tuesday, January 6, through Friday, January 9, Rocky Mountain Prep will host our January Summit Series, a week of student-led conferences where scholars practice reflection, goal-setting, and self-advocacy in real time. In these conversations, students do more than share grades. They explain what they’ve learned, what they are proud of, and what support they need next.
