There are big changes happening at our new House on the Arthur M. Blank Hospital campus! 🏠 It's starting to look more and more like a Home where families with sick or injured children will be able to heal and play in while receiving care at a nearby hospital. The House includes an interactive playscape, live moss wall, large dining spaces, a family kitchen, private dining spaces, and more so that we can serve even more families, even better. This family dropped off pop tabs from Kedron Elementary who collects pop tabs as a school to donate to our Houses! Collecting pop tabs is a fun and easy way to support the families who rely on us. Pop tabs are recycled and the money raised helps support our operations. AT-PAC hosted a fall-themed night at our Peachtree Dunwoody House! The night included pumpkin decorating, bookmark making, decorating the House for fall, along with a delicious dinner from Marlow's Tavern! It was such a special event to get everyone in the festive fall spirit 🎃🍂🍁

When Phin Michael was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, the Michael family had their world turned upside down in an instant. Doctors told Phin's parents that he would need a bone marrow transplant in Atlanta, four hours away from their home in Savannah. That's when they discovered Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities. Phin's mom Neesha says, "Staying at the House in the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit not only saved Phin, but also our family. As a mom, I just wanted to put him in a bubble and keep him safe, and Atlanta RMHC provided that safe, home-like environment for my family." Our Bone Marrow Transplant Units provide families with a comfortable, sterile environment fully equipped with everything they could need while staying at the House. This allows families to stay close to their child during treatment and recovery. Approximately 9,550 new cases of cancer will be diagnosed among children by the end of 2025. After visiting our Peachtree Dunwoody House in June of this year and finding out they would need to stay with us again in August, the Jinkerson family made it their mission to gather their community and collect pop tabs to give back to ARMHC. Our 2025 Wine & Fries event was a success! 🍷🍟 With your help, we raised over $31,000 to support 162 nights of stay for our families. The night included signature wine, McDonald's World Famous Fries, raffle items, a wine pull, and live music from The Ray Minors! We're so thankful to everyone who came out to enjoy this special night and come together for a cause. ❤️
