There’s HEART in this team, and now we’ve got the stars to prove it. Our Structural Heart Program just earned the highest 3-star rating from The Society of Thoracic Surgeons and the American College of Cardiology for our TAVR program, placing us in the top 10% nationwide and among the best in the world. The team came together to celebrate this accomplishment and the completion of the 1,000 TAVR procedure this week. TAVR is a minimally invasive procedure that replaces a narrowed aortic valve, offering a safer, faster recovery than open-heart surgery. “This recognition means patients in Idaho and beyond can get world-class heart care, right here at home,” said Dr. Joseph Walsh. We’re proud, we’re grateful, and we’re just getting started. Learn more about the program at https://lnkd.in/gRXNw_k3. #BringIt

Jonelle, Nurse Practitioner at the Saint Alphonsus Cancer Institute in Boise, has spent the last 10 years walking alongside patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. From her early days as a floor nurse on 5 South to her current role in medical oncology, Jonelle’s journey has been marked by compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to patient care. Throughout her transition from nurse to nurse practitioner, Jonelle has embraced the ever-evolving world of cancer treatment with excitement and purpose. “The patients are my motivation—being there in their best and worst times, celebrating milestones, and creating a safe space when days are hard. We walk away with a piece of each patient’s journey.” Jonelle’s work spans Boise, Baker City, and Ontario, and she’s known for celebrating every patient milestone, whether it’s ringing the bell or commemorating a quiet victory. Her care most recently earned her a spot in the top 5% of Trinity Health for patient experience, but she credits her team. “We hold each other up. Some days are hard, and we get through them together.” Her story is a reminder that in oncology care, every moment matters. That is why she brings it – each and every day. #BringIt

When you’re part dietitian, part program coordinator, and all-in for your patients—you bring it. Vanessa joined Saint Alphonsus just nine months ago, and she’s already making a big impact in a uniquely blended role. Splitting her time between nutrition and program coordination, she keeps the bariatric program running smoothly—from accreditation and referrals to patient satisfaction and educational materials. Her work spans general surgery and bariatrics, and she finds joy in creating new nutrition resources tailored to different procedures. But for Vanessa, it’s about more than logistics—it’s about people. “Keeping a positive attitude is key. We’re all part of a greater human fabric. Boise is a big-small community, and I see others as my own family. That makes me want to be the best I can be for them.” She’s inspired by her teammates, who show up with energy, effort, and heart. Their strength fuels her own. “We bring it for each other—and that’s how we bring it for our patients.” #BringIt #SaintAlphonsus
