Salal Credit Union President & CEO Russell Rosendal has announced his retirement at the end of 2025, marking the close of a remarkable 17-year career with the organization. Under Russ’s leadership, Salal grew by nearly $1 billion in assets, expanded nationwide lending programs, became a pioneer in cannabis banking, and launched impactful initiatives like our 5% Promise—returning over $1.5 million to local communities. We’re grateful for his vision and commitment to innovation, equity, and service. A nationwide search for Salal’s next CEO is underway, with a transition planned by the end of the year.
