Sam’s Club (Nasdaq: WMT) a division of Walmart Inc., is the membership warehouse club solution for everyday living. Our President and CEO is Latriece Watkins and our headquarters is in Bentonville, AR. For the fiscal year ending January 31, 2023, Sam’s Club’s total revenue was $84.3 billion. There are almost 600 clubs across the U.S and Puerto Rico and each averages approximately 136,000 square feet. Our first club opened in Midwest City, Oklahoma, in 1983. Many clubs include sustainable features such as day-lighting with skylights, night dimming, central energy management, water-conserving fixtures, natural concrete floors and recycling. Sam’s Club employs thousands of associates in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Approximately 75 percent of club management was promoted from hourly positions.     It’s day one, and I am thrilled to be back at Sam’s Club—it’s where I first learned retail, even after I had spent 10 years at Walmart. As I worked to wrap up our fiscal year as Chief Merchant, I found myself visiting clubs, meeting with the leadership team and being introduced to and catching up with associates at our Club Support offices. I’ve felt the warmth, pride, and energy that make Sam’s Club so special. Thank you to our associates for the welcome. As Sam’s Club CEO, I’m following in the footsteps of so many people I deeply respect; it is humbling and an honor I take to heart. I am grateful beyond words for the support I have already received from each of them. Sam Walton’s entrepreneurial spirit — bold, member-focused, and grounded in service — remains alive today at Sam’s Club. I’m energized to build on the strong foundation already in place and honored to lead the next chapter — rooted in legacy and culture, fueled by momentum and purpose, and focused on winning — together. This is a business led by people, powered by technology and dedicated to members who are the heart of everything we do.     Neighbors helping neighbors 💙❄️ When winter weather hits, needs change fast. And at Sam’s Club, our focus is simple: showing up where it matters most because our members aren’t just shoppers, they’re our neighbors and our community. As the storm rolled in, snow blowers, shovels, lanterns and work lights saw sales jump 2,800%, with enough snow shovels sold to stretch four miles end to end 🏔️ Members also purchased 80,000+ batteries online (enough AA batteries to cross the Golden Gate Bridge more than once) and about 100,000 gallons of prepared soup, because staying warm sometimes starts around the table.
