Sometimes, the best way to recharge is with puppies and kittens. For Mental Health Awareness Month, Samsung employees took a moment to pause and play during our Pet Therapy Day. The incredible team at Humane Society Silicon Valley brought therapy animals to campus, creating a joyful, calming space that offered employees a much-needed mental reset. In addition to cuddle time, employees made toys for shelter pets, learned about our Airvet benefit (which provides employees with 24/7 virtual vet care), and helped extend the Humane Society’s impact through corporate-matched donations. We’re so grateful to the Humane Society for the care they provide every day—for animals and people alike—and for making this experience so meaningful for our team. As one employee shared, “This was the best break... Every #EarthDay, #SamsungSemiconductor turns off the lights at some of our main business sites. This year, our lights-out event will be held at our Giheung, Hwaseong, Pyeongtaek, Cheonan, Onyang, and SAIT facilities. In 2024, this lights-out event reduced our electricity footprint by 237 kWh and our carbon emissions by 110 kgCO2, which is about the amount of carbon dioxide absorbed by 46 pine trees annually. It's all testament to just how much of an environmental impact even small changes can make when we unite as a business to create #TechnologyThatMakesTechnologySustainable.

Think of a subway system, where thousands of commuters need to travel from point A to point B every day. In #DDR5 #DIMM modules, the subway system is the #PMIC, which is responsible for transporting power in the required amounts to where it is needed: primarily the DRAM and peripheral components like Client Clock Drivers (CKDs), Temperature Sensors (TSs) and Serial Presence Detect (SPD). But what manages the subway?
