Recently, Monroe Principal Brian Naughton and Superintendent Dr. Hilda Maldonado joined students to celebrate the planting of the very first oak tree on campus. This marks the start of a districtwide effort to reimagine schoolyards as places where students can learn under the shade of trees and surrounded by native plants. 🌱✨ SBEF is proud to serve as the fiscal sponsor for Campus Canopy, helping bring this vision to life.
