  • Here's three new reasons to get out to NoVa on your next culinary excursion: Nue, ǎn, and Roll Play! We're honored to be working with entrepreneur Tuyet Nhi Le and spreading the news about this diverse trio of Southeast Asian spots. See below for what you need to know 😉 🥬 You may recognize Nue's name from a glowing review in Tom Sietsema's final dining guide, where he referenced the modern Vietnamese spot's bar as "one of the best in the area and serious about the craft". Beyond their stellar cocktail menu (and N/A options, too!) you can count on Nue as one of the area's most inventive and delicious spots for lunch, dinner, extensive vegetarian options, and great deals on Happy Hour. 🥬 Make your meals work for you with ǎn's endlessly customizable menu of bowls, lettuce wraps, and snacks designed to make you feel your very best! Whether you're looking for high-protein options to help out in the gym, trying out new and creative ways to eat meat-free, or want to keep your immunity up during the winter months, there's something on the menu just for you. The brand's strong focus on high-quality ingredients and health means every single bowl is free of dairy, gluten, MSG, soy, and seed oils, so rest assured knowing you've got (delicious) options to meet your goals this year. 🥬 We're about to enter peak pho season, but why stop there? Not only does Roll Play offer nourishing and tasty variations of the popular Vietnamese dish, they've got plenty of other craveable options like a seasonal French Dip Banh Mi with oxtail bone broth, Pho-Spiced Popcorn Chicken, Egg Rolls, and much more. With locations in Falls Church, Rosslyn, and Tysons Corner, you've got plenty of options to enjoy an indulgent meal that still puts your wellness first! 📸: Hannah Park #washingtondc #publicrelations #vietnamesefood #foodandbeverage #fastcasual

  • This week's weather is sending the message that summer is ~definitely~ over, so we're cozying up and looking back on all our teams' travels from the past several months. Of course, we had to include snippets from our summer media diets (the best diet you can keep, TBH!) Swipe through to see how our team enjoyed the warm weather, and you might find your next book/song/podcast rec to enjoy while holed up inside this winter 📕 #washingtondc #publicrelations #mediadiet #foodandbeverage

  • Chefs for Equality is back, bigger, and better! One of DC’s most dazzling food-for-good events is expanding its scope across the city, with star chefs, bakers, mixologists, and diners coming together to raise funds for the Human Rights Campaign. This year’s events look a little different from years past, so here’s what you need to know: 🌈 On October 27th, five fabulous DC restaurants will host immersive, intimate dining events delivering bold flavors and powerful storytelling designed to spark conversation around LGBTQ+ equality. Participating restaurants include Cut by Wolfgang Puck, Moon Rabbit, The Duck and the Peach, Acqua Bistecca, and our very own client Perry's who will host a Drag Brunch for Dinner event with Frost & Flourish, Chef David Guas, and JP Sabatier of Jane Jane and Bar Betsie! Tickets are available now at www.chefsforequality.org, so snag seats while they’re still available. 🌈 Don’t fret if you couldn’t snag tickets for next Monday’s event – several of our favorite DC restaurants (including All Set Restaurant & Bar, Slice & Pie, Lucy, and others) will be raising funds from 10/27 – 11/2 through donating a portion of sales of select menu items. Check out a full list of participating restaurants on CFE’s website. 🌈 Finally, Chefs for Equality’s online auction is open NOW through 10/27 with experiences, stays, gift cards, and more from DC’s finest. Personally, we’ve got our eyes on doughnuts from Astro Doughnuts and a dinner at St. James, but we wouldn’t say no to dinner with Tom Sietsema, either 😉 There’s so much more information available at chefsforequality.org – we can’t wait to see how DC gets involved! David Hagedorn Nycci Safier Nellis #washingtondc #chefsforequality #marriageequality #lgbtq #restaurants #chefs #charitydinners

  • A heartfelt congratulations to our client Perry's and Chef Masako Morishita on their recent inclusion in The Washington Post's DC Restaurant Hall of Fame 🧡🍜 It's been an incredible journey for Chef Morishita, who in just three years has transformed the restaurant into a must-visit culinary destination with her unique style of Japanese comfort food (and earned a James Beard Award along the way!) We're so proud to see this beloved neighborhood gem and standout team receive the recognition they so richly deserve. Stop by anytime, try a new special, and enjoy! 📸: Scott Suchman #falldining #washingtondc #restaurants #foodandbeverage #publicrelations

  • Nuli is now open at The Square! 🧡 After a quiet soft opening, you can now officially stop by this brand-new African-inspired spot anytime between 10am to 6pm Mondays through Fridays and noon to 5pm on Saturdays for fresh wraps, bowls, juices, and more. If you've never tried jollof or already have an opinion on who makes the best version, Nuli is your spot to enjoy the famous rice dish with a twist! It's the fast casual format you know and love, but made extraordinary with the use of lesser-known African flavors and superfoods like moringa, fonio, and baobab. And if you're a downtown DC worker in a rush looking for an easy meal on the go, they're also the first vendor in The Square to offer smoothies! Take it from us: everything is packed with flavor, nutritious, and tastes seriously amazing. And finally, a pro tip you won't want to miss: in honor of their official opening, the first 100 customers today (10/9) get a complimentary cold-pressed juice with any purchase. 📸: Scott Suchman Ada Osakwe #NuliUSA #PublicRelations #Entrepreneurs #WashingtonDC #DCDining #FoodAndBeverage #FastCasual

Bravo, Slice & Pie! 🍕 Earlier this week at the 50 Top Pizza awards ceremony in Naples, Giulio Adriani was awarded with two very special honors: a #83 ranking in the Italian organization's list of the world's 100 best pizzerias, and the Mammafiore Award for Best Marketing! Both awards come on the heels of Slice & Pie's #2 ranking in 50 Top Pizza's list of the best slice shops around the US, a position they maintained for the second year in a row. We're so grateful to play a part in Slice & Pie's success, and can't wait to introduce their NY and Detroit-style slices to more of DC with their exciting upcoming openings. Stay tuned for more news about this one-of-a-kind pizzeria! 📸: Maria Lustre Rebrikova #50toppizza #pizza #foodandbeverage #fastcasual #washingtondc #restaurantawards

  • Introducing a fiery new upstart in the fast-casual game: Nuli 🔥 Nuli, a Lagos-based chain from multi-hyphenate Nigerian entrepreneur Ada Osakwe will open in The Square later this month, and we couldn't be more excited! Expect superfood-packed bowls, wraps, juices, and smoothies with a unique West African flair, like jollof fonio bowls and naan breads made from cassava flour. Office workers, rejoice - lunch just got a little more exciting 😉 📸: Gazmudu | Nuli Foods #fastcasual #washingtondc #nigerianfood #nuli #nuliusa #publicrelations
