Last week, Sawdey Solution Services’ own James Pymm, attended the CS5 East Conference in Washington, D.C., the premier gathering for defense contractors and vendors to discuss collaborative strategies for advancing the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) toward CMMC compliance. This event brought together compliance experts, assessors, trainers, and tool providers to share collaborative strategies for achieving and sustaining cybersecurity maturity within the defense ecosystem. Sawdey Solution Services proudly holds a CMMC Level 2 certification from a C3PAO and remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting fellow contractors in their compliance journeys, as well as addressing broader IT and cybersecurity needs across the industry. This week Sawdey Solution Services is attending the 2025 Air, Space & Cyber Conference, hosted by the Air & Space Forces Association at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD. This premier event brings together Department of the Air Force leadership, industry partners, and innovators for three days of professional development, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration. With over 40 sessions focused on emerging requirements, cutting-edge technologies, and the future of air and space power, the conference is a vital forum for driving progress and strengthening partnerships. We’re proud to share that two of our team members, Barry Cox and Mark Wallace, recently returned from TDY supporting Project Convergence – Capstone 6 (PC-C6). This highly successful planning event advanced joint innovation and collaboration across the services. During the workshop, they: - Captured initial USAF objectives and desired learning points - Formalized a list of candidate technologies for experimentation - Reviewed and matured USAF mission threads/OV-1s, aligning tech and learning objectives to each thread - Worked in cognizance with the U.S. Army and joint/combined experimentation events and objectives Their outstanding contributions reflect Sawdey’s ongoing commitment to excellence in supporting the United States Air Force and strengthening partnerships with the US Army.
