Joint revisions are among the most complex orthopedic procedures, traditionally limited to being performed in a hospital setting. INOV8 Surgical Center is leading the change as the only ASC in Texas performing these high-acuity cases in an outpatient setting. With advanced robotics, rigorous accreditation and a skilled team, they’ve performed over 1,000 joint surgeries and are working toward a goal of 5,000. Read more:

At SCA Health, we’re committed to providing growth opportunities to all our teammates. Our Sterile Processing Development Program is one of the many ways we invest in our teammates. The nationally registered apprenticeship program provides hands-on training and a clear path to career advancement for teammates who are interested in transitioning to a career in sterile processing. As we celebrate Sterile Processing Tech Week, we want to recognize all our sterile processing techs and their dedication to patient care.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with all those affected by breast cancer. SCA Health has supported patients with nearly 4,000 breast surgeries this year. Throughout October, we’ll highlight inspiring journeys from individuals we’ve had the privilege to support.

Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a condition where narrowed arteries reduce blood flow to the limbs, most commonly the legs, due to plaque buildup. Limb salvage is a top priority when caring for patients with PAD. We’re proud to support over 200 facilities nationwide that perform cardiovascular procedures and empower physicians at the forefront of this life-saving work.
