We could not be more proud of our own Justin Fogt, Director of Cardiac Nursing Services, who was honored this week with the ScionHealth 2025 Monarch Caring and Community Award, the highest honor given to only three caregivers across our vast System’s more than 80 sister community and specialty hospitals nationwide. A Columbus native, Fogt continually puts our patients at the forefront of everything he does as a nursing leader. Making connections to patients is a cornerstone of the healing process and Fogt leads from the front, delivering consistent five-star care to those who depend on us every day. “If you can connect with a patient, their care is so much more meaningful for you and for them,” he says. “The greatest advice I could give anyone and what I try to instill in our staff from a nursing standpoint is that you are there to care for that person in that bed – it’s great to have the clinical data and knowledge, but the best thing any of us can do is focus on that person and learn how to care for their body, soul, and mind.” Learn more about Justin’s story in the video below or visit https://lnkd.in/efqwem3Q
