About us
The public sector today faces incredible challenges, from broken or slow bureaucracy to understaffing and overwork, to simply challenging day-to-day experiences as a result of being a force for change. At SIYLI, our goal is to support every individual with the emotional resources that can help them navigate these challenges. We want to see our public health nurses, teachers, civil servants, and nonprofit frontline workers thrive, supported in doing the deeply human work that supports everyone. We want to see empowered leaders supported in making wise changes in their systems.

Did you know that a sense of safety is essential for your brain to truly absorb new information? When we experience stress, our brains go into protection mode, making it harder to learn and retain ideas. By creating an environment of calm and psychological safety—whether for yourself, your community, or your team—you help unlock curiosity, creativity, and deeper learning. ➡️ Consider starting meetings and encounters with a mindful pause or grounding exercise to encourage a calm, open mindset. Small steps can make a big impact on how we grow and learn together.

Social rejection is a challenging part of life and work culture- it may look like a pitch that didn't get approved or not getting a promotion or being rejected from a friend group. How do you respond in a way that keeps you connected to your values? That's where developing emotional intelligences comes in— it gives you the inner resources to recognize, manage, and gently grow through hard moments. By honoring your feelings and staying true to your values, you can come back to yourself with compassion and keep moving forward, no matter what life brings.
