Our Business Development team kicked off a new initiative to engage with and promote different #coworking spaces around the region every Friday🙌 As part of this initiative, we invite companies and entrepreneurs in the region to come work alongside us for a day💫 we'd love to get to you and explore how we can support your business growth in Greater Sacramento! Our first "Cowork Friday" was held at Frequency Coworking & Events, located inside Clutch’s offices in City of Rancho Cordova. PRO TIP: They do "Frequency Fridays" where local entrepreneurs are invited to come build their dreams in their beautiful space for free! We are looking forward to connecting with new businesses and drawing inspiration from various co-working spaces around Greater Sacramento. Where should we spend our next Friday???

'DOWNTOWN DOVA' plans are moving forward 👀 City of Rancho Cordova unveiled plans for its ambitious Downtown Dova project, set to transform a 28-acre site into a vibrant destination with housing, retail and entertainment. 💫 The project will create a “Downtown” Rancho Cordova, including a 7,500-seat sports arena, 1,000 residential units, up to 1,000 hotel rooms and enough commercial space to finally give the city a place to meet, eat and have a place to call downtown. This investment will help attract and retain talent, drive tax revenue and more.

Solidigm has opened a new AI Central Lab in City of Rancho Cordova to test how memory storage systems perform under real artificial intelligence workloads.🤖 The facility will help the company optimize performance and collaborate with customers on new innovations. This investment strengthens Greater Sacramento’s role as a hub for cutting-edge technology and positions the region at the forefront of AI development.🚀

The Robot Report feature on Sierra College is live! 🤖🎉 Our Communications Manager, Brianna Buda, had the honor of coordinating this special story, including bringing reporter Mike Oitzman to the region for an in-person tour of Sierra College’s mechatronics program. During his visit, he interviewed Sierra College President Willy Duncan, Professor Roy Ingram and Dean Amy Schulz, PhD, MBA, getting a firsthand look at how community colleges like Sierra College are fueling the future of the robotics workforce. The story highlights how Sierra College's mechatronics program is bridging the national skills gap in automation and robotics, equipping students with hands-on experience and industry-aligned training to meet growing labor demands. Our VP of Marketing & Comms, Jasmine Ward, had the opportunity to speak on a panel at Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's State of Hispanics event: Unlocking Hispanic Economic Mobility in the Greater Sacramento Region 👏 The third edition of the Regional Hispanic Economic Report was unveiled at the event—its finding underscoring the growing role of Hispanics in shaping the economic future of the Greater Sacramento Region. With nearly 600,000 Hispanic residents, the community now represents a critical share of the region’s workforce, consumers and business owners. The event brought elected officials, business leaders and community advocates together to spark strategies that advance economic mobility and inclusive growth for all communities. It was an incredible discussion that explored both the challenges and bright spots that the fastest-growing demographic in our region, and how we can work together to build a more equitable and prosperous future for all.🌟

🇰🇷Day 4 in Korea was packed full with meaningful conversations about future international collaboration opportunities with Greater Sacramento.🇰🇷 📍 We spent the first half of the day back at Chaevi, the largest end-to-end electric vehicle charging solutions manufacturer and installation/service provider in South Korea. Chaevi led an excellent discussion about innovation in the EV market that sparked tons of ideas about future international collaboration opportunities. 📍 In the afternoon, we headed to Pohang University of Science and Technology where we explored potential U.S.-Korean bridge ways in the bioscience industry. Don Taylor gave another excellent presentation outlining Greater Sacramento's bioscience industry and University of California, Davis' Aggie Square. 📍 We wrapped up the day with a panel discussion: "Gateways to the U.S. Market: Leveraging Emerging Bio-Clusters for Breakthrough Growth" — a powerful conversation on how emerging bioclusters can drive global growth and create new opportunities for collaboration. The panel was led by Don Taylor, James Frasher, Amanda Norton and Jerrod Voong; and moderated by Hyun Jong Kim. We shared SO many productive conversations on our delegation to Korea last week that ignited synergy with new and existing foreign relationships. 🙌
