    Had an amazing conversation on AM Best during InsureTech Connect, alongside Barbara Wagner, Head of Strategy at Zurich North America! We talked about how our collaboration with Zurich began after Sixfold won their Innovation Championship last year and how it’s grown from a pilot in four middle-market offices to all offices nationwide. Barbara shared an important aspect of Zurich’s approach to innovation: Partnerships. Our partnership helped to solve some of the biggest challenges in insurance -- in this case underwriting and to scaled it with measurable impact. Another example of how Sixfold is driving impact: Our newest launch, Referral Agent, helps underwriters save about an hour on each referral, one of the most time-consuming tasks in underwriting.     Last week, I was back on stage at Zurich Insurance’s Innovation Festival to share the results of our collaboration over the past year. What started as a pilot with 16 underwriters has now scaled to 200+ across the US using Sixfold’s Underwriting AI brain to generate appetite-aligned insights. As the Zurich North America team put it: “Last year at the Zurich Innovation Championship, we celebrated our collaboration with Sixfold and shared early pilot results that showed real promise. Today, that promise is reality, and it’s just the beginning.” The goal: give underwriters more time to build broker relationships, focus on negotiations, and grow their portfolios. And thank you to Kristof Terryn, CEO Zurich North America, for sharing the impact: “We’ve put Sixfold in the hands of every US middle-market commercial underwriter, equipping them with insights to make fast, confident decisions and drive better engagement with customers and brokers.” Many thanks too to Justin Delaney, CEO Zurich Australia, for highlighting similar success in Australia’s Life & Health business. Sixfold is now expanding to more product lines across P&C and L&H, and going global in the UK, Australia, and South America. Cheers to even more #funderwriting!

    AI is transforming underwriting at Zurich North America: we shared how at the inaugural Zurich Innovation Festival. During the Festival, Kristof Terryn discussed how Sixfold is helping us raise the bar for underwriting speed and precision. Sixfold, a winner of the Zurich Innovation Championship in 2024, is now in the hands of every U.S. Middle Market Commercial Underwriter. Its generative AI platform turns thousands of pages of exposure data, loss runs and risk reports into concise underwriter-ready summaries, helping our teams work faster, respond to more submissions and spend more time where it matters most: engaging with customers and brokers. We also recognized other former winners that Zurich North America works with, including Nearmap’s “Betterview” solution, which won the Championship in 2023. Nearmap, a leader in aerial imagery and AI analytics, helps identify property risks. This data improves Zurich’s U.S. Middle Market risk models and enables better eligibility decisions and more accurate premium calculations based on property features. Last year at the Zurich Innovation Championship, we celebrated our collaboration with Sixfold and shared early pilot results that showed real promise.     DevDay 2025 was electric. Thanks to #OpenAI for featuring my name in the keynote and the token of appreciation for Sixfold processing over a 100 billion tokens 🤯 The through-line this year: - Agents are the new runtime, excited to see e2e platform for developing and shipping agents. Mixed feelings about agent builder, looks like a good tool to prototype agents with, but no code can only go so far in production from experience - Context > prompt-craft, mastering context engineering will 10x your productivity (Codex) and improve accuracy of your agents - Evals Driven Development is the new norm, building robust and accurate agentic systems are challenging due to their non deterministic nature, the theme was Keep It Simple Silly (KISS), quality > quantity and establish a feedback loop asap, take a data driven approach to optimize your workflow and prompts, automate as much as possible P.S Being an engineer would prefer being on the highest ROI for tokens leaderboard but understand that’s an mammoth attribution challenge 🙂 . . . . #DevDay #OpenAIDevDay #DevDay2025 #AI #GenAI #Agents
