After starting her career in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Emily made the leap into the flooring industry in 2017—joining CB Flooring and spending her first years learning the ins and outs of the business. 📊🏢 In 2020, as her parents began stepping back from day-to-day operations, Emily and Matt stepped up—taking on leadership roles that mirrored their parents’ strengths. Nichole Poindexter-Wilson is the CFO and co-owner of Poindexter Flooring, Inc., a family-run business she leads alongside her father, Brian Poindexter. She joined the company in 2003, just five weeks after her son was born, and quickly began modernizing operations—transitioning from general ledger accounting to job cost systems, and eventually implementing a fully integrated ERP. 📊🧠 Her process-driven mindset and passion for efficiency have helped Poindexter Flooring more than triple its sales over the years, all while maintaining a lean and dedicated team.
