Putting “{{FIRST NAME}}” in a cold email is not personalization. Everyone’s inbox is full of those. True personalization = RELEVANCE It’s about showing them that you understand their world. Prospects don’t care you know their name & title. They care that you know their situation. What’s the best example of real personalization you’ve ever seen in cold outreach? Would love to hear examples.

AI won’t replace salespeople. But it will expose lazy outreach. You can’t automate trust. You can’t automate real insight. You can’t automate understanding what actually matters to a prospect. AI can help you go faster... …but if your message is shallow, it just helps you fail at scale. At Startupr, we use AI to amplify great sales work, not to replace it. Because tools don’t win deals. People do! Do you think AI will replace sales or just expose who’s doing it badly?

  • Are multivitamins really helping founders stay healthy or just giving a false sense of security? Stanford-trained physician and entrepreneur Hillary Lin, MD Lin MD explains why multivitamins often miss the mark, and how founders can use testing and targeted supplements to build real energy, focus, and longevity. This short clip highlights her perspective on supplementation but the full interview dives deeper into founder wellness, burnout prevention, and how she is building Care Core to reshape access to healthcare. Most first touches fail because they’re asking for too much, too soon. “Hey I’m a stranger, want to book a 30 min meeting?” Outbound works like relationships: -Start with curiousity -Build trust -Then EARN the meeting I never chase meetings in message one, I spark conversations that lead to them. Relationships first. Meetings second. How many touch points do you usually send before asking for a meeting?

Inbox Inflation Decision-makers are drowning in outreach. More cold emails, more LinkedIn messages, more noise...every single day. And when everyone’s trying to stand out by being louder… …the only thing that actually cuts through is relevance and clarity. This is how you win replies: -Ultra-targeted ICP research -Clear messaging that instantly communicates value -Consistency that keeps you top of mind Because when inboxes are full, only the sharpest signals get seen. What is the best subject line you've ever received, and what made it stand out?

Calendar Confidence! The real value of outbound isn’t just the meetings you book today. It’s the confidence that there’s always another one coming. That you’ll wake up next week, open your calendar… and see new opportunities waiting. That kind of consistency changes how you operate as a salesman: -You stop chasing -You start choosing Outbound isn’t about luck, it’s about control. And control builds confidence. At Startupr, that’s exactly what we build for founders: A predictable system that fills your calendar and also clears your mind.

  • Hustle culture might fuel ambition… but it can also quietly drain founders. In our latest Startupr Founder Series short, Hillary Lin, MD shares why entrepreneurs must prioritize mental health, resilience, and longevity just as much as they prioritize growth metrics. Because the truth is simple: A startup can’t thrive if its founder burns out. This clip is just a glimpse of the powerful insights Hillary shared in her full interview where we dive deep into strategies for avoiding burnout and building sustainable success as a founder. Watch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/eGGUpMiK

  • Most founders treat their startup like an athlete but forget to treat themselves like one. That’s why we brought on Hillary Lin, MD, a Stanford-trained physician and repeat founder (Curio → CareCore), for our latest episode of the Startupr Founder Series. We talked about what most of us ignore until it’s too late: • Why hustle culture leads straight to burnout • The early warning signs founders miss • Sleep as the ultimate performance edge • Building sustainable habits with the “10% Rule” • Which supplements actually matter and which are just hype • Why founder longevity is just as important as startup longevity If you are building, fundraising, or scaling, this is the conversation that could add years to your career and life. 🎥 Watch the full episode here: https://lnkd.in/eD_tREne At Startupr, we believe supporting founders is not just about product and growth. It is about making sure the people behind the companies thrive, too. And if you want practical tips on health, longevity, and sustainable performance, check out Hillary’s page. The 10-Second Test. When a prospect opens your cold email or LinkedIn message, you have about 10 seconds before they decide: “This is relevant to me” …or “Delete.” (If your email even reaches them, that is) If they can’t instantly understand: -Who you are -Why you reached out -And what problem you can help with …then the message won’t land. Most SDR's overcomplicate this. They bury the hook in long intros, jargon, and feature dumps. But in outbound, clarity beats cleverness. Every. Single. Time. Ask yourself: Would my ideal prospect understand the value in 10 seconds or less? If not, it’s time to simplify. I'm curious: What’s the best cold email you’ve ever received? Did it pass the 10-second test?

The feature dump problem: Most cold emails fail because they look like product manuals. -“We integrate with X, Y, Z…” -“We offer dashboards, analytics, automations…” Nobody buys a feature list. Prospects buy outcomes. If you’re not getting replies, stop dumping features. Start focusing on the problem you solve. Have you ever caught yourself writing “feature dump” emails?
