CityFibre, the UK’s largest independent full-fibre platform, is on track to deliver high-speed connectivity to at least a third of the UK market. Rapid growth and partnerships with Sky, Vodafone, and TalkTalk made modernizing its data infrastructure essential. Striim replaced legacy systems with a scalable, real-time platform that centralized data in Snowflake and delivered reliable pipelines for proactive network management and customer service. The result is future-proof architecture that powers: ‣ Faster insights for diagnostics and customer tools ‣ Reliable scale with continuous CDC ‣ Agile delivery through CI/CD integration ‣ Future-ready foundation for AI and analytics CityFibre’s story shows how telcos can modernize data strategy to accelerate transformation and why real-time matters at national scale. In November 2022, ChatGPT went live. Within five days, it hit 1M users. That moment launched a wildly popular product, but it also started a whole new conversation that ignited the AI revolution. Since then, we’ve seen: • The rise of LLMs (Claude, Gemini, GPT-4) • Multimodal models that handle text, images, audio, and video • A flood of copilots, assistants, and AI-powered apps • The shift from passive LLMs → autonomous agents But AI won’t transform the enterprise if it lives only inside a chatbot or standalone app. For AI to make real impact, it needs to connect with the systems, databases, and tools that actually run the business. Enter Model Context Protocol (MCP). Think of it as the USB-C of AI. Finally providing a universal way to connect agents with live, governed context. With MCP (and Striim’s real-time data integration), enterprises can deliver AI-ready context: governed, secure, and in sub-second latency, directly to agents. 🔗 Read the full article to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eNYZMnxV

How do we make AI systems safe, strategic, and scalable? That's the question we took on with the help of our friends over at causaLens. In our latest post, we teamed up to explore how enterprises can operationalize intelligent agents (digital workers) that act with real-time context, not stale data. With Striim’s governed, real-time data streams and causaLens’s causal reasoning, teams can move from reactive analytics to AI-backed decision-making, safely and compliantly. Most enterprises still process data in batches, long after events have already happened. But in an AI-driven world, delayed data means delayed decisions. Real-time data processing changes that equation. It enables systems to detect fraud as it happens, personalize customer experiences in the moment, and feed AI systems with live, contextual information instead of yesterday’s data. This shift requires a new approach around governance, observability, and data readiness across every layer of the enterprise. Our latest post explores what real-time data processing really means for modern business, and how companies are preparing for it. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/esBK4tMg
