  • As #CareersInConstructionMonth continues, our annual leadership summit focused on giving back to teachers and students across the Phoenix valley. Every student deserves a pathway to explore the world around them. STEM kits spark curiosity and ignite interest in future careers. In just one hour, 210 volunteers packed 150 classroom kits, reaching 6,750 students across Mesa Public Schools, Valley of the Sun YMCA, and Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley - BGCArizona. A special shoutout to STIIX for providing accessible, hands-on and real-world activities for students. #SundtService

  • From the moment we wake up in the morning, we depend on water: brush our teeth, make our coffee, fill our water bottle. We’re lucky to have this access. But, what if we didn’t? On #ImagineADayWithoutWater, we want to recognize what it takes to keep America’s water running. With aging infrastructure across the country, we’re partners in upgrading facilities that deliver clean water with the latest treatment technologies. • Thanks to everyone who spent a beautiful day on the green with us last week! ⛳ The 13th annual Northern California Sundt Foundation charity golf tournament was a huge success, drawing 144 golfers and raising more than $50,000 for Stanford Health Care’s Multiple Sclerosis Patient Center, thanks to the generosity of our sponsors. The Center is a national leader in patient care, offering comprehensive, personalized treatment for individuals living with MS. Patients benefit from the latest clinical trials, expert neurologists and a team committed to long-term support and innovation in MS treatment.

  • 76 feet tall and 225,000 pounds: that’s the size of just one of the 141 tilt-up panels our team placed on a confidential data center project in Arizona. The feat earned Sundt top honors in the 2025 Exposing the BEST in Concrete Awards from the Arizona Chapter of the ACI. Despite a site where casting beds took up more than half the laydown space, our self-perform Concrete Division delivered with precision and speed. Every panel pick was choreographed to the inch, using detailed planning, in-house expertise and tools like Revit to maximize efficiency and safety. In the end: 47,700 craft hours, zero recordable incidents, and one of the most logistically complex tilt-up scopes in Arizona completed ahead of schedule. Congratulations to everyone who brought this project to life!

  • Meet Jackie Barnes, Preconstruction Project Manager for Sundt’s Transportation Group. Jackie’s love for construction began with her dad, who worked as an operator for the county Road Commission in her hometown in Northern Michigan. “He always encouraged me to explore career paths that weren’t necessarily traditional for women,” she says. “After spending my teenage summers working for the Michigan Department of Transportation, I realized how much I loved being around the construction environment and decided to pursue it as a career.” Today, Jackie plays a key role in preconstruction planning and coordination for Sundt’s Texas transportation projects. Next spring, she’ll transition back into operations as a project manager on a roadway reconstruction project in Denton, Texas. What keeps her motivated? People and purpose. “I really enjoy the people here and the opportunity to be involved with the Sundt Foundation, which encourages us to give back to our communities. It’s rewarding to see the impact we make together, both through the infrastructure projects we build across the country and the work we do to support our communities.” For Jackie, employee ownership is what makes Sundt special. “The culture of employee ownership is unmatched, and every person has a vested interest in the success of what we do every day.” Way to go, Jackie! #KAPBCSSpotlight

  • The Sundt Foundation has awarded a $15,000 disaster relief grant to the UNITED FUND OF GLOBE-MIAMI INC to support local organizations providing essential aid following the recent flooding across the Globe-Miami area. Beyond financial support, our employee-owners are on the ground helping their neighbors. They coordinated free meals with the help of local food trucks, assisted with cleanup alongside Freeport-McMoRan and filled nearly 500 sandbags (and counting!) ahead of the coming storms. Living our value of service means showing up for the communities we call home when it matters most. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up! #SundtService

  • In the heart of California’s Lithium Valley, a new state-of-the-art facility brings cutting-edge STEM education to a rapidly evolving region.   The San Diego State University Imperial Valley Sciences and Engineering Laboratories houses lecture halls, offices, and teaching labs. Laboratories make up the bulk of the space and include advanced wet labs designed for research involving chemicals and biological matter. These specialized features create an environment where students can engage in hands-on experimentation and discovery.   For Project Manager Brandon Drury, the facility represents more than just a new building: “They have a facility where they can go do great things. That’s the really exciting piece; it’s going to offer people opportunities that they didn’t have before.”   Sundt turned the building over at the beginning of the fall semester—supporting education, workforce development and the future of science in Imperial Valley.

  • We’re halfway there!   Yesterday, joint venture Sundt and PCL Construction celebrated 50% completion on the largest clean water investment in Arizona history.   When complete in 2029, this facility will supply over 70% of Gilbert’s drinking water and serve 100,000 more residents. A milestone project for a community we call home.   Shoutout to all the #KAPBCS for reaching this incredible milestone!

#ProjectMilestone: The Town of Gilbert, Arizona alongside partners PCL Construction and Sundt Construction, is celebrating the halfway mark of the North Water Treatment Plant expansion. This critical expansion will serve 100,000 additional residents in Gilbert and increase treatment capacity from 45 to 60 million gallons per day to meet growing demand. With completion expected in January 2029, we’re proud to help strengthen Gilbert’s water infrastructure and support the community’s future growth.
