About us

The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in Chicago (SACC-Chicago) is a non-profit membership based organization that facilitates and supports an exchange of trade, commerce, culture and investment between Sweden and the U.S. Midwest. SACC-Chicago covers the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri and Wisconsin - an area with about 35 million inhabitants in total. Founded in the late sixties, SACC-Chicago has acquired more than 75 Business and Corporate members to its unique network today. SACC-Chicago also organizes seminars, panel discussions and business meetings, as well as more casual and socially oriented events such as the Annual Crayfish Party and the Annual Lucia Luncheon. The SACC network as a whole includes 20 Regional Chambers located in 19 states across the U.S. Together they have over 2500 members in total. The SACC Chambers form a nationwide business network which has served as a forum for Swedish and American business people ever since it was founded in 1906.
