We’re thrilled to celebrate a series of recognitions honoring the achievements of our Nottingham High School Mock Trial team and dedicated advisor, Don Little. Senator Rachel May presented Mr. Little with a 2025 NYS Senate Commendation Award, recognizing his unwavering commitment to guiding our students to success. Mayor Ben Walsh also unveiled a brand-new sign at East Genesee Street and Sunnyside Park Road, officially recognizing Nottingham as home to the 2025 NYS Mock Trial Champions! Senator John Mannion added to the celebration with a proclamation acknowledging the team's outstanding performance. Congratulations to all who contributed to this incredible milestone!

The Syracuse City School District’s Central Office Leadership Academy (COLA) provides a collaborative space where district leaders come together regularly to engage in professional development, share insights, and strengthen their skills. This ongoing commitment to leadership growth supports our goal to create a thriving school community where high standards and learning are prioritized. #SCSDLeadership

Last week, the Superintendent’s Student Cabinet, composed of student leaders from grades 9-12, held their final meeting of the year. Throughout the school year, this group collaborated with district administration by sharing innovative ideas, offering support, and providing valuable feedback on policies that impact our school community.   We are thankful for their commitment and leadership, which continue to strengthen our schools and inspire their peers.
