👯♀️ Celebrating National Sisters Day with Target Team Members! 👯♀️ Today, we’re spotlighting a dynamic sister duo whose journey at Target is as inspiring as it is heartwarming: Maggie C. and Katie C. ✨ Maggie began her Target journey in 2021 as an Associate Buyer Intern in the All in Motion men’s performance category. She brought her personal style and perspective to the table during the program and was presented with a full-time offer for post-graduation. Three years into her role as a Buyer, Maggie continues to thrive, supported by a culture of mentorship and growth, sharing “my leaders check in on my development, and my team does such a great job at coaching and mentorship. They always ask how they can support me!”.  ✨ Katie, a Marketing Associate Intern and student at UW–Madison, always dreamed of working alongside her big sister: “It was truly a dream of mine to work with Maggie. And if you have a dream, you have to go for it. I've had so much fun in my internship thus far." Katie has participated in a few internships prior to Target but shares Target has been "extremely community oriented - it's all about the culture here".    When asked about a moment they knew they made the right choice joining #TeamTarget, Maggie shared: "My 'aha' moment was a result of being an intern, actually. A year after my internship, I was in store and I noticed the “All In Motion” section of the store looked quite familiar.  I had actually picked out most of the styles on the floor pad! It was so good to see my work come to fruition”. Katie added: "I knew it was right from week one. The first week was awesome. Everyone was welcoming and Target helped me feel like I belonged”. Maggie and Katie's bond goes beyond family—it’s a mentorship rooted in love and shared ambition. During our conversation, Katie shared: “Maggie has always mentored me, even before the program started. I’m trying not to get emotional— but she’s truly the best older sister.” Double the talent, double the heart. 📚 School Spirit + Career Growth = Summer at the Bullseye 🎯 As the back-to-school season kicks into gear, we’re spotlighting the incredible team members at Target who are blending their love for education with meaningful careers. Whether they’re guiding students or pursuing their own academic goals, they’re growing, thriving, and making an impact—with support from the Bullseye. Meet Tijuana J.R., a teacher for 27 years and now a guest advocate at T-1388 in Liberty, Missouri. Her journey came full circle when she joined Target and discovered that two of her teammates had once been her students. “I love teaching and I love working at Target, so blending those two... it was amazing.” — Tijuana J.R. Then there’s Nick C., who began his Target career loading freight at DC-3804 in West Jefferson, Ohio. Thanks to Target’s Dream to Be tuition-free education benefit, he graduated and became an operations manager. Now, he’s exploring new paths—logistics, more school, and possibly even a cross-country move. “I tell people all the time, ‘Don't be afraid to get uncomfortable. Use the benefits. Learning & Leading: Celebrating National Intern Day at Target On this National Intern Day, we’re shining a spotlight on the enthusiasm, curiosity and impact our interns bring to Target. Our internship program is more than just a summer experience. It’s a launchpad for building a fulfilling career, rooted in our commitment to providing good jobs, working with great people, and opportunities to grow. 📸 Below is just a glimpse of what our interns have been up to this summer: 🛠️ Gaining hands-on experience through safety walks and setting up signage for local events. ❤️ Giving back to local community organizations — from meal prep with Second Harvest Heartland to yardwork and organizing at the Division of Indian Work. 💬 Learning from inspiring leaders like CEO Brian Cornell and COO Michael Fiddelke during mentor sessions and speaker series. On the topic of learning from leaders, our interns had a special opportunity to hear directly from CEO Brian Cornell during a recent fireside chat. Brian shared inspiring insights on career growth, the value of curiosity and how important their fresh perspectives are to Target’s future. 💼 How It Started → How It’s Going: Faye C. 💼 Store director Faye C. opened Target’s new Astoria, Queens, New York store on Sunday, July 20th. This marks a major milestone for her and the community she calls home. It’s also a reflection of Target’s commitment to providing good jobs and continued growth. Faye began her Target journey as a seasonal team member in Rego Park back in 2001. Over the years, she’s grown through roles in HR, General Merchandise and Service & Engagement. Now, she’s leading a team of 100 in her hometown. Faye’s story is a shining example of Target’s commitment to investing in our frontline leaders. Through the Store Director Development Program, Faye gained the tools, training, and confidence to lead with impact. This six-month program blends in-person and virtual learning, peer support and hands-on experience — all designed to set our leaders up for success. 💬 “The career development and opportunities I’ve had at Target have helped me grow into the leader I am today. ❤️Leading With Care - The Team Target Way❤️     In the wake of the devastating flash floods across Texas Hill Country, our hearts go out to all those impacted. We’re incredibly grateful that our team members in the affected areas are safe and that our stores across Austin and San Antonio remain open to serve guests. But our commitment goes beyond business as usual.    Across the region, Target team members are stepping up in powerful ways—cooking meals for first responders, delivering essential supplies and partnering with local disaster relief organizations to support the hardest-hit neighborhoods. Their compassion and dedication embody the very best of our team culture and dedication to a spirit of volunteerism.    To further support recovery efforts, Target has donated $250,000 to aid Texas flood response efforts. This builds on the $1.5 million we contributed earlier this year to support disaster preparedness and response across the U.S., helping ensure communities are equipped to weather any storm.    We’re proud to stand alongside our partners and volunteers in this work.
