This noble cause runs throughout the month, focusing on early detection, screening, and treatment, while also raising funds for research, plus honoring those affected by the disease. However, our wonderful employees do more than wear pink, as they also fundraise to support and honor those affected by this illness, including putting a team together to walk in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event, which will take place at Trustmark Park on October 25th in Pearl, MS. This week, the Mississippi State University CAVS Extension conducted a class for several Taylor Power Systems employees as a part of the Lean Manufacturing Certificate Training program. The Lean Manufacturing Certificate Training program teaches manufacturing personnel the skills to recognize and eliminate waste in the workplace, as well as how to improve workflow in a manufacturer's operations. All of the Taylor employees who participated did a wonderful job, and we appreciate their commitment to improving our manufacturing process.
