  • Are you coming? YP Speed Networking Event Why should you attend this great event? Great Question! Why We Believe This Matters: • Access to Experience: You’ll get direct face time with respected community leaders who’ve built careers, overcome challenges, and made real impact. Their insight is invaluable, and you won’t find this kind of access at a typical event. • Grow Beyond Your Circle: It’s easy to stay in your comfort zone. This event pushes you to connect with people outside your usual network, opening doors to fresh ideas, opportunities, and potential mentors. • Career + Community: It’s not just about what these leaders do it’s about why they do it. You’ll learn how they balance professional success with giving back, which can shape your own path toward purpose-driven leadership. • Real Connections, Fast: Speed networking keeps things moving, energizing, and focused. You’ll have several powerful conversations in one evening, each one a spark that could lead to something bigger. Don’t Miss this opportunity to have a seat at the table and engage with top-business leaders in the Mainland area. #TCLMchamber #LifeLivedHere #VoiceofBusiness

  • It’s time to nominate HER! The nomination process for the 4th Annual Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce “Women in Leadership Awards” (W.I.L.A.) is now LIVE. The acronym W.I.L.A. sounds a lot like the word “willow”. During conversations about what types of leaders should be recognized a metaphor was developed with a tree and its branches symbolizing a solid foundation, roots, reach and impact. The Women in Leadership Awards goal is to recognize women who are vital to the success of a current Texas City-La Marque Chamber member business/organization. The women that are recognized embody these “branches” of leadership traits: integrity, passion, humility, empathy, fostering collaborations, servant leadership, uplifting and adding value to others. Distinguishing the wide variety of business sectors and sizes in the community, six categories were chosen for this awards program: DO YOU KNOW HER? Who do you know embodies W.I.L.A. “branches” of leadership traits: integrity, passion, humility, empathy, fostering collaborations, servant leadership, uplifting and adding value to others. NOMINATE HER TODAY! Nominations are being accepted by the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce until July 31. Contact Stefanie Aldrich stefanie@tclmchamber.com for the WILA 2025 Nomination Form. #TCLMchamber #LifeLivedHere #VoiceofBusiness
