About us
TED-Ed is TED’s youth and education initiative. TED-Ed’s mission is to spark and celebrate the ideas of teachers and students around the world. Everything we do supports learning — from producing a growing library of original animated videos, to providing an international platform for teachers to create their own interactive lessons and to share their ideas on our Educator Talks channel, to helping curious students around the globe bring TED to their schools and gain presentation literacy skills, to celebrating innovative leadership within TED-Ed’s global network of over 650,000 teachers. TED-Ed has grown from an idea worth spreading into an award-winning education platform that serves millions of teachers and students around the world every week.

Accepting unexpected challenges can lead you to unexpected growth and opportunities. For Ashton Cofer, joining Student Talks on behalf of his robotics team wasn’t something he had planned on — but it had a lasting impact on him and, later, his career. The program helped him build the confidence to share his story, take big risks, and grow his leadership and communication skills, which he now uses daily to lead his business startup. Through the experience, he learned the power of speaking up, and encouraging others to do the same, to spark connection, innovation, and change. Hear more about Cofer’s experience: http://t.ted.com/8EeziHL. Learn about how you can apply to bring the Student Talks program to your school for the December 1st cycle: http://t.ted.com/O2MaDVt
