This week, we welcomed CBRE to our Speaker Series, where students had the chance to hear from the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. A special thank you to Brian Murphy, Bridgette Barnett, Linda Yado, MBA, and Connor Harwell for sharing their industry expertise. In FY 2024, CBRE completed $72 billion in debt and structured finance transactions across various property types, including multifamily, industrial, retail, office, hotel, land, and others. This work encompasses loan sales, equity originations, and investment banking, offering students a real-world perspective on how capital flows across the industry. Opportunities like these give our Master of Real Estate students a valuable perspective as they prepare to launch their careers. We are also proud and appreciative of CBRE sponsoring a tailgate for a full multi-day engagement with Texas A&M University.

They shared valuable perspectives on the valuation and appraisal industry, discussing how LPA continues to lead in providing independent, data-driven advisory across a wide range of real estate assets. From navigating market shifts to setting standards in valuation services, their insights highlighted the firm’s expertise and commitment to shaping the future of the industry. A special thank you to Mark Lowery, MAI, AI-GRS, CCIM, MRICS, Aggie Real Estate - Mays Business School Board Member, Founder & CEO of LPA, and proud Texas A&M University graduate, for leading the discussion. Under his leadership, LPA has more than doubled in size in just two years, continuing to expand while maintaining its reputation for accurate, ethical, and timely valuations across the Southwest.
