Glenn Hamer is more than a leader in Texas business, he’s a force for connection, collaboration, and progress. As President and CEO of the Texas Association of Business, Glenn has guided the state’s largest business advocacy organization with vision and heart, driving policy wins that strengthen Texas’s economy while uplifting the people who make it thrive. Under his leadership, TAB has delivered major victories on economic incentives, property tax relief, and regulatory reform, work that continues to keep Texas the best place for business in the country. Appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to co-chair the Governor’s Small Business Freedom Council, Glenn helped secure landmark support for small businesses during the 89th legislative session. His efforts have also expanded TAB’s international partnerships, launched the Texas Freedom Litigation Center, and advanced innovation in AI, energy, and emerging technologies, ensuring Texas remains globally competitive. But those who work alongside him say his true impact goes beyond policy. “Glenn is an excellent leader but also an excellent human,” one colleague shared. “He lifts people up, gives credit freely, and makes everyone around him better. We’re lucky to work with him.” Glenn’s passion for business and his belief in people make him one of the most respected and accessible leaders in state advocacy. He can inspire a room as easily as he can move legislation. As one of this year’s Association Champions of the Year, Glenn Hamer represents the leadership, integrity, and optimism that define the very best in Texas business advocacy. Congratulations to Glenn Hamer and a BIG thanks to USLege for this recognition! #txlege Laura Carr

On an incredibly important day for the Middle East and the world, we are deeply encouraged by the return of surviving Israeli hostages and applaud the leadership of President Trump in advancing what we are confident can be a real, lasting peace. With several trade and economic cooperation agreements with business organizations in both #Israel and the #UAE – as well as the establishment of a Texas-Israel Trade Office in #Jerusalem which TAB strongly supported in the Texas Legislature this session – we are confident that the #Texas business community will continue to lead the nation in expanding commercial and diplomatic ties throughout the region and help advance a more prosperous future for all of our communities: https://lnkd.in/giFH2y8q Glenn Hamer Massey Villarreal Megan Mauro Gabriela von zur Muehlen #txlege Giovanni Capriglione Mano DeAyala Stan Gerdes Ryan Guillen Armando Martinez Mary Ann Perez Richard Peña Raymond Shelby Slawson David (Borowich) Yaari
